Terms of Use

Using BawiPOS

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use BawiPOS on phones and tablets you own or control, for your own business. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the app, or use it to break the law.

Free and Pro

BawiPOS is free to use. BawiPOS Pro adds features, as described in the app, for a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID (App Store) or Google account (Google Play) when you confirm the purchase. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings. When a subscription ends, Pro features stop, and everything you recorded stays in the app.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under its refund policies. We may add, change or remove features, including Pro features; if a change takes away something you paid for, we will try to offer a fair alternative.

Your data and your records

Your store's data belongs to you and stays on your phone (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for it, including making backups: if your phone is lost or broken and you have no backup, we cannot recover your data.

You are responsible for your prices, taxes, stock counts and records being correct, and for following the laws that apply to your business.

Receipts and taxes

Receipts made with BawiPOS are records for you and your customers. Unless the tax authority where you operate has approved BawiPOS for your business (in the Philippines, the Bureau of Internal Revenue), they are not official receipts or invoices, and BawiPOS reports are not tax filings. You are responsible for issuing official receipts or invoices and filing taxes as your law requires.

Ask Bawi, forecasts and reports

Ask Bawi, forecasts, reorder suggestions and reports are worked out from your own data to help you decide. They can be incomplete or wrong. Check before you rely on them for important decisions.

Things outside our control

BawiPOS works with other services and devices: your phone, app stores, RevenueCat, printers, and storage or email apps you choose. We are not responsible for how they work or for their terms.

No warranty

We work to keep BawiPOS reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise it will be free of errors or always available.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost sales or lost data. Our total liability for any claim about BawiPOS is limited to the amount you paid for BawiPOS Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

Apps from the App Store

If you got BawiPOS from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no duty to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for the app, for any claims about it, or for any warranty beyond refunding the purchase price under its policies. Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where these terms don't cover something.

Ending use

You can stop using BawiPOS at any time and delete it. We may stop your use of Pro if you break these terms, for example by getting around the purchase check.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. If these terms change, the new version will be in the app and on our website with a new effective date; using BawiPOS after that means you accept them.
